Empowering Women Through Unity and Purpose

The New York Chapter Chums, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is dedicated to uplifting and empowering children, youth, and families through service, mentorship, and community engagement. Guided by the National Chums’ motto, “Listen to the Children… Enrich Their Lives,” we provide programs that promote education, health, wellness, cultural enrichment, and community stabilization.

Since 1956, our chapter has delivered impactful initiatives including civic engagement, summer youth enrichment, hospitality and community service training, youth mentorship, and mental health and wellness support for underserved women and youth. We also provide scholarships, career readiness opportunities, and STEM programs that inspire resilience, nurture creativity, and build pathways to success.
